Challenge Round 2

This challenge round, I'm looking for lesbian pairings, either real (canon) or fabricated (AU).
Since submissions are scarce, I am also accepting f/f friendship videos. There doesn't have to be romantic involvement, just friendship. :)

If your vid fits the Challenge Round, select the Challenge checkbox. You do not need to check anything else, as this will be a separate round.
One video only, please. You may still submit two other videos to the regular round.

Rules

  1. Two videos per vidder each round.
  2. CLIP THEFT IS NOT TOLERATED! If you are caught stealing other people's videos, you will be banned!
  3. Please link back to us if you have a webpage. (I'll be checking). If you'd like to affiliate, just ask. ;)

    4. If you have no site, put 'None' in the submit form for your site name and URL.
  4. Always provide a valid email address incase we need to contact you and so we can notify you about awards.
  5. All vids must be downloadable and the URL must remain active for the duration of the round. You can find free hosting at 4shared.com, megaupload, filefront, and many others. Streaming video is NO LONGER accepted.
  6. Videos cannot be over 80mb. If you have high/medium/low quality options, send me the page that these are listed at. If you have a high quality video just over this limit, contact me and I'll see if I will grant you an acception.
  7. Violence, profanity, explicit lyrics and sexual content are allowed, but please include a warning in your description or judges' notes.
  8. If your video does not win anything, you may resubmit it only once.
  9. You may submit your video in up to six categories. Please choose wisely. Everyone is automatically eligible for Best Editing, Best Video, Judge's Choice, Song Use, and whatever categories I see fit to add.
  10. After you submit, tag us, or we won't know if we lose your entry.
  11. Code phrase of the round is, "Failure is delay, not defeat." This is just to show that you have read the rules carefully. This code changes each round.
  12. Most of all, we want to reward vidders for their excellent work or improving their skills and motivate them to continue vidding.

With that said, simply follow the rules and ask questions if necessary. We will most certainly help you out.


Categories:

  • Action: an action-packed video, pulse-pounding music, fight scenes, (at least one explosion) ect. Make it your own.
  • AU: (Alternate Universe) This video bends reality.
  • Breakup: Is your character the one throwing their lover out or are they the one trying to patch things up?
  • Cast: the best cast of characters represented in your video.
  • Character: a character-centric video. It has to be focused on him or her, and tell who they are.
  • Comedy: make us laugh.
  • Couple: the best (portrayed) pairing.
  • Crossover: a video that goes between two or more fandoms.
  • Drama: tense and emotional, compelling, and often apocalyptic.
  • Editing: the cleanest, sharpest editing. Also focuses on clip choice, general composition, and greater depth. Everyone is entered.
  • Effects: the best added effects to your video. Over-the-top isn't always the way to go.
  • Friendship: best platonic relationship.
  • Jossverse: Best video from a Joss Whedon fandom (Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, ect).
  • Video: chosen by the judges, this video excells overall.
  • Vidder: chosen by the judges, this person has created exceptional vids.
  • Voice: the music lyrics or audio clips clearly speak for the character.
  • Movie: best video that covers a movie.
  • Romance: mushy, angsty, or sexy. May focus on more than one couple.
  • Slash: this video covers a slash relationship (m/m, but will include femslash, f/f).
  • Song Use: compatibility between clips and the song, and takes full advantage of any aspect to the music.
  • Tearjerker: the most heart-rending video.
  • TV: best video that covers a TV show.
  • Judges' Choice: your video is considered a favorite!

    • Additional categories may be created whenever we see fit.
